The Greener Gardening Shopping Directory

I’ve always thought it would be useful to have a directory of genuinely sustainable garden products, greenwash-free and produced by people who really care.

So here it is! I have pulled together all the little innovations I’ve come across in my travels, as well as people who are really working hard to produce truly low-impact things for your garden from natural materials sourced locally and sustainably, or repurposing waste streams and putting them to good use.

Of course, it’s almost always better not to buy things if you can: everything you source from someone or somewhere else incurs a higher carbon footprint, even if that’s just from the journey you make to pick it up (or the delivery van takes to bring it to you). So I’ve included alternative ways of getting hold of these things too. But if you do want to go shopping, the individuals and companies featured here are a good place to start.
